As Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Internships, Jennifer partners with employers to design, strengthen, and refine internship programs, develop sustainable recruitment pipelines, and create meaningful, high-impact opportunities for student engagement. She is passionate about connecting students and employers in ways that are mutually beneficial, purposeful, and career-shaping.
Jennifer brings more than 20 years of experience in education and workforce development, spanning high school career technical, community colleges, and public four-year universities. She joined The Ohio State University in the College of Public Health as a career counselor, where she also taught career development and capstone courses. She later transitioned to a university-wide employer relations role with Buckeye Careers in the Office of Student Life and is now excited to lead initiatives focused on career development, work-based learning, and employer engagement within the Career Center of Excellence.
Jennifer holds a Master of Education in 7–12 English Education from the University of Dayton, career technical credentials in Business and Marketing from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Cincinnati.
Outside of work, Jennifer can often be found enthusiastically cheering on her children at multiple sporting events, proudly rooting for Buckeye football, or experimenting with new baking recipes—much to her children’s delight.
